Miniatures Painting Wounded samurai miniature Tempo di lettura: < 1 minutoWounded samurai miniature – Eugenio Larosa To ensure an immersive and realistic experience while playing IMPETUS, I believe that the creation of special bases depicting battle scenes is crucial. In my collection dedicated to feudal Japan, I embarked on crafting an epic and dramatic diorama featuring a wounded samurai trapped beneath his fallen horse, pierced by arrows, while an enemy samurai prepares to strike the final blow. This base, in addition to adding a touch of realism to the battle, can serve various functions during the game. It can be used as a strategic objective, drawing the attention of players and influencing their moves. Furthermore, it can be employed to indicate a possible ambush or the point of entry for reinforcements, providing multiple tactical possibilities and interesting scenarios. For the creation of this unique base, I have used miniatures from the Samurai Horsemen and Ashigaru Spearmen lines by Warlord Games, both in 28mm scale. These plastic miniature sets have provided me with the necessary flexibility to make the required modifications and create an authentic setting for the diorama. Through a series of targeted modifications, I have made the miniatures even more realistic and suited to my vision. I have altered their poses, weapon details, and armor, ensuring that each individual figure tells the story of a warrior engaged in a critical moment of battle. The use of these miniatures has allowed me to create a visually engaging composition for the base.
