Kosaka Masanobu wargame miniatures

Kosaka Masanobu was one of Takeda Shingen’s twenty-four generals, and also one of his three Danjo.

The Danjo was part of Takeda Shingen’s war council, the other two generals with the title of Danjo (or Danjochu) were Sanada Yukitaka and Hoshina Masatoshi.

Kosaka Masanobu played a central role in the fourth battle of Kawanakajima, first he warned Takeda Shingen of the enemy’s movements, then once the surprise attack failed, he led his men to clash with the rear of Uesugi’s army, changing the tide of the battle.

The miniatures are 28mm Perry Miniatures from the samurai range.
