Kakizaki Kageie miniatures 28mm
Kakizaki Kageie was one of Echigo’s generals in the service of Uesugi Kenshin.
Feared for his ferocity in battle he participated in at least three battles of Kawanakajima, In the fourth battle he led the attack of the vanguard that led to the death of Takeda Nobushige, younger brother of Takeda Shingen.
In this command base, made for the Impetus regulation, Kakizaki Kageie is together with Kojima Yatarō, famous samurai and hatamoto of Uesugi Kenshin.
Kojima Yatarō was known for his size and his ferocity in battle with the nickname of Oni Kojima, the “ONI” in Japanese mythology is a creature similar to an ogre or demon, and in some iconographies in fact we find it represented with the image of a grinning Oni on his sashimono.
The other two miniatures are ashigaru, one with the Kakizaki clan colors on the sashimono and the other with the general’s personal banner.
The miniatures are all 28mm Perry Miniatures samurai range.
