28mm Shigenaga samurai ashigaru

Honjo Shigenaga valiant samurai and commander of the left rear guard in support of Uesugi Kenshin during the fourth battle of Kawanakajima.

The heavy infantry unit for the Impetus wargame rule is made up of samurai with pole weapons

The miniatures are 28mm Old Glory except the banner holder (nobori) with the general’s personal mon (Perry Miniatures).

A Shide-oke sashimono form Perry Miniatures is worn by the samurai in command.

Impetus light infantry unit, consisting of Ashigaru with Yari (yari-ashigaru) in the colors of the clan.

The 28mm miniatures used come from the Samurai range of  Perry miniatures.
