Morg ‘N’ Thorg blood bowl – Eugenio Larosa
Morg ‘N Thorg, also known as “The Ballista,” is a massive Ogre Blocker, a clumsy giant standing nearly eight feet tall. Morg is illiterate and signs his contracts with a bloody handprint. The name Morg’n’Thorg is an attempt to transliterate the pronunciation of his name.
He led the All-Stars, the team he captained, to win two Chaos Cups, earning him the title of NFC Player of the Year in 2485. Morg ‘N Thorg is the only player to be elected to the Hall of Fame without retiring. Currently, Morg is a freelance player and offers his services to all teams except Khemri, Necromantic, and Undead.
Morg has two other brothers, Borg’th N’Hthrog, whose stats appeared in the second edition, and Grunn’k M’mthrog, who was mentioned in the same edition.
The beautiful Forge World piece is crafted with great precision. The multi-component resin kit consists of 7 parts, and the clean molding demonstrates attention to detail. The kit also includes 2 32mm round bases, one of which features a hole to slot the ball into, indicating ball possession in Blood Bowl games.
The miniature is rich in detail, with spiked armor and a facial expression that makes it enjoyable to paint.
Personally, I decided to paint this piece in the colors of my human team, orange and black.
